Upon initial configuration, we can convert your existing
plant data saving you the time and internal expense of having to
perform this function manually.
If you're currently not using any Plant Records software, we
will populate all of the maintenance tables with commonly used
field names, which can easily be customized after implementation. The Plant Records module is designed to
allow the system administrator to define basically any plant
item the Client wishes to track. Plant Records offers a robust
search utility for easy access to the stored plant information.
A key feature is the ability to link multiple services to one
plant location (i.e. phone, DSL, Video, etc.)!
No need to worry about losing the plant information when a
customer disconnects. Plant Records information is always stored
with the actual location so you always have access to the
stored plant. In the case of a disconnected customer, the plant
information simply becomes inactive but still available for
inquiry purposes. This is a significant time saver by not having
to look up and link plant when assigning a new customer to an
existing location.
Plant Records offers the same type of reporting capabilities
as i - Lynx and comes with several different reports, which are;
Cable Pairs, Line Cards, Plant Record Location and Pedestal
report. All reports allow the user to determine what order the
information appears on the report and how much plant information
will be printed. When printing out a service order work order
copy, all Plant Records information is displayed in an easy to
see area, which is most useful for the technician working the
order. In addition, the Plant Records information can also print
out on the trouble ticket if you're utilizing the Trouble
Reporting module.
